Service design (2022-2026)
Undergraduate course, ECUST, Industrial Design, 2025
Learning objectives
This course is an important part of the Industrial Design program. Through this course, students should understand the basic concepts and methods of service design and their relationship with operations management, become familiar with research tools, and learn the general principles of service design. It is a structural course that studies and solves the relationships between services and business, and between services and people. It focuses on how to apply service design research methods in design practice. The course fully implements a human-centered approach, using this as the core principle to solve design problems in service (business) environments.
